The game contains a 30 minute demo. After evaluation you are invited to buy the game at a link provided at the right section of this page. Note that after 30 minutes the game will lock down and all progress playing the game will be lost. After purchasing the game you will be allowed to play again.
Note: This is a new version of A.D. containing various patches for Windows Vista and 7.
Bugs fixed:
- unable to run on Vista or Win7
- activated game no longer needs to be re-activated(windows security policies conflict fixed)
- the “shield low” is no longer played constantly, only once, when it fails
Installing the game
After downloading the setup executable file, please run it and follow the on-screen instructions. You can customize the location where to install, where to add shortcuts and similar. You need 800MB of free space on your hard drive.
Note that the game installer will try to access the internet for software updates (DirectX and Visual Studio redistributable files). If your firewall alerts you for this you may deny access for these to the internet as the eventual update is not needed.
After installing the game, just run it via the start menu or a desktop shortcut. Feel free to enter the “Settings” tab to customize your graphics and sound settings to match the power of your PC.
Note: Make sure that you have installed the latest graphics card drivers.
